Job Responsibilities:
- Design and maintain scalable, high-performing application solutions and system architectures.
- Translate business and functional requirements into effective technical solutions.
- Lead the design, development, enhancement, and implementation of new and existing applications.
- Act as the technical lead for medium to large-scale projects and business initiatives.
- Collaborate closely with business users, product managers, vendors, and infrastructure teams to ensure successful solution delivery.
- Develop and maintain software applications based on established coding standards and best practices.
- Perform unit testing and system integration testing (SIT) prior to UAT deployment.
- Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) activities and resolve identified issues promptly.
- Provide second-level production and incident support in collaboration with first-level support teams.
- Ensure applications are stable, secure, and optimized for performance.
- Support short- and mid-term IT strategic initiatives aligned with business objectives.
- Participate in risk assessment and technical evaluation processes for projects and system changes.
- Ensure compliance with change management and release management procedures.
- Monitor system health and maintain application availability and reliability.
- Ensure projects and initiatives are delivered within scope, timeline, and budget.
- Maintain proper SDLC documentation for all projects and enhancements.
- Ensure timely resolution of incidents and service requests within agreed service levels.
- Handle medium to high complexity projects with end-to-end application delivery responsibilities.
- Participate in regulatory enhancement projects and portal modernization initiatives.
- Improve internal and customer-facing systems by enhancing user experience and operational efficiency.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline from a recognized institution.
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT application development and solution delivery.
- Experience in delivering and supporting enterprise-level digital applications and systems.
- Exposure to project implementation and system enhancement initiatives.
- Strong knowledge of ASP.NET Core application development.
- Proficient in HTML, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, AJAX, and Bootstrap.
- Strong understanding of relational databases such as SQL Server, Sybase, or Oracle, including T-SQL.
- Experience with Bitbucket, Jira, and CI/CD deployment practices.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and application architecture concepts.
- Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), testing, and deployment processes.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and stakeholder management abilities.
- Able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and capable of handling multiple priorities.
- Experience in the insurance industry or understanding of insurance business operations is an added advantage.
