IT Business Analyst
About the job IT Business Analyst
Job Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand business processes, and perform process identification, definition, and mapping.

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather, analyze, and document business requirements through interviews, workshops, and research.

Translate business needs into clear and concise user stories, use cases, and functional specifications for development teams.

Define and develop acceptance criteria to ensure quality and readiness of application releases.

Work closely with project teams to plan, develop, and refine features for upcoming sprints and releases.

Ensure all user stories meet the Definition of Ready before development begins.

Maintain and manage a prioritized product backlog of features and user stories.

Identify opportunities for process improvements and recommend solutions to enhance business performance.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Product, Development, and QA to ensure successful project delivery.

Manage stakeholder expectations and communicate effectively to align business objectives with IT solutions.

Support application delivery and maintenance in accordance with Service Level Agreements (SLA) and IT SDLC processes.

Assist in resolving complex issues and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in IT Business Analysis or delivering IT applications.

Proven experience in requirements gathering, user story creation, and business process analysis.

Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in sprint-based environments.

Ability to define acceptance criteria and ensure quality deliverables.

Experience in stakeholder management, including influencing and communicating across different levels.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills.

Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Experience in the Insurance industry is highly preferred.
- Experience in project management or leading initiatives is an added advantage.
