Scrum Master & Agile Delivery Lead

Job Responsibilities:

• Lead Agile delivery across multiple squads and workstreams using Scrum and/or SAFe frameworks.
  
• Facilitate key Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and release planning.
  
• Lead the end-to-end delivery of large and complex transformation programs/projects, including programs with budgets exceeding RM3 million.
  
• Manage project dependencies, risks, assumptions, issues, escalations, scope, timelines, budget, and quality across multiple teams.
  
• Develop and manage delivery roadmaps, release plans, and sprint-based execution plans to ensure timely delivery of business priorities.
  
• Establish and maintain delivery governance, providing regular progress updates and recommendations to senior management and steering committees.
  
• Form and lead Agile squads of approximately 20+ team members, optimizing team structures, capabilities, and resource allocation.
  
• Partner with Product Managers, Product Owners, Portfolio Leads, Business Owners, Architects, and Technology Leads to align priorities and delivery plans.
  
• Translate strategic objectives into prioritized backlogs and sprint-based delivery plans, ensuring focus on business value and customer outcomes.
  
• Monitor team velocity, delivery predictability, quality, and overall delivery effectiveness, identifying opportunities for improvement.
  
• Coach Product Owners, Business Analysts, delivery teams, and stakeholders on Agile principles, Scrum practices, and SAFe methodologies.
  
• Remove delivery impediments, strengthen team accountability, and foster a self-organized, high-performing, and continuously improving team culture.
  
• Drive continuous improvement and Agile maturity across squads while balancing Agile practices with practical business and delivery outcomes.

Job Requirements:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field.
  
• Minimum 7 years of experience in Agile development, Agile delivery, Scrum, or related delivery management roles.
  
• Proven experience successfully delivering large and complex transformation programs/projects, rather than solely facilitating Scrum ceremonies.
  
• Strong hands-on experience with Scrum and/or SAFe frameworks in a multi-squad environment.
  
• Experience managing programs/projects with budgets exceeding RM3 million is highly preferred.
  
• Demonstrated experience leading multiple Agile squads and technology teams, with approximately 20+ team members.
  
• Strong knowledge of Agile delivery, sprint and release planning, backlog prioritization, dependency management, and delivery governance.
  
• Proven ability to drive business value delivery, predictable outcomes, and continuous improvement.
  
• Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to communicate and engage confidently with senior management and executive stakeholders.
  
• Excellent risk management, problem-solving, decision-making, and escalation management skills.
  
• Experience coaching teams and stakeholders to build Agile maturity, ownership, accountability, and self-organization.
  
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively across business and technology teams.
  
• Demonstrates a servant-leader mindset while maintaining strong accountability for delivery, timelines, quality, and business outcomes.
