Our client is a globally recognized brand in the tools and equipment industry. They are seeking a Head of Sales to drive their Malaysia business. This is a senior leadership role for a proven professional who thrives on building high-performing teams, driving growth, and strengthening dealer and distributor networks nationwide.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead, mentor, and grow a sales team across Malaysia.
  • Strengthen dealer and distributor partnerships to expand market reach.
  • Design and execute sales strategies, promotions, and marketing initiatives.
  • Partner with marketing to deliver successful product launches and customer events.
  • Track competitor activity and market trends, providing actionable insights to management.
  • Drive revenue growth by identifying opportunities and implementing action plans.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • 8 to 10 years of sales management experience, including 5 years in a leadership role.
  • Strong exposure to industries such as building materials, machinery, or industrial products.
  • Proven success leading sizeable sales teams (10 or more staff) and managing dealer/distributor networks.
  • Hands-on, proactive, and strategic, with the ability to execute independently.
  • Excellent communication skills in English, Bahasa Malaysia, and Mandarin.
