Job Summary:

Our Client, a well-established Foreign Bank in Malaysia is seeking a person skilled and experienced in Treasury Sales to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing, building and enhancing the FX & Derivatives sales business for the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

To manage and grow FX and FX derivatives business with clients by providing pricing, execution and hedging solutions in compliance with regulatory, risk and governance requirements.

    Client Coverage & Business Development

    • Manage assigned Financial Institutions (FI), Non-bank Financial Institutions (NBFI) & Government-linked companies (GLC) client portfolios for FX and FX derivatives products.
    • Act as the primary contact for FX pricing, execution and client servicing.
    • Support revenue growth through increased transaction volumes and wallet share.

    FX & Derivatives Sales and Execution

    • Price and execute FX spot, forward, swap, FX swap and approved FX derivatives.
    • Provide clients with FX hedging solutions for trade, funding and balance sheet exposures.
    • Ensure timely and accurate execution in coordination with FX trading desks.

    Risk management & controls

    • Execute transactions within approved limits, mandates and risk parameters.
    • Monitor market, counterparty and concentration risks arising from client needs.
    • Escalate irregular transactions or market stress events in accordance with internal procedures.

    Products suitability & advisory

    • Offer vanilla and approved FX derivatives solutions to meet client needs.
    • Ensure clear communication of product features, pricing and risks.
    • Adhere strictly to product suitability and client mandate requirements.

    Regulatory & compliance

    • Ensure full compliance with BNM FX policies, internal treasury guidelines and market conduct standards.
    • Maintain proper documentation for KYC, FX hedging justification and internal approval.
    • Observe shariah requirements for Islamic FX products where applicable.

    Market intelligence and reporting

    • Provide clients with FX market updates and execution insights.
    • Support internal reporting and management information requirements.

    Internal coordination

    • Work closely with risk, credit, operations and settlements teams to ensure smooth trade processing.
    • Support senior management in key client engagements and business initiatives.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Tertiary education in any field.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Obtained Pasaran Kewangan Malaysia Certificate (PKMC)
