Job Summary:

Our Client, a well-established Foreign Bank in Malaysia is seeking a person skilled and experienced in Credit Administration to join their dynamic team. The successful candidate will execute and be responsible for Credit Administration (documentation, facility drawdown, renewal etc) matters for the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

Credit Administration Function

  • Validate Credit Application and Facility Agreements
  • Manage and maintain credit facility documentation
  • Perform post – execution credit administration, including due date management of credit related items and administration of covenants.
  • Handle corporate guarantees and collateral-related operations
  • Prepare and submit Head office reports accurately and on a timely basis

Credit Rating Function

  • Validate the accuracy of customer financial data registered in the system
  • Check and verify the accuracy and completeness of credit rating applications
  • Ensure compliance with internal and Head Office procedures related to credit rating

Syndication Facility Agent Administrative Function

  • Manage drawdown, renewal, interest due date, and covenant monitoring for syndicated facilities
  • Coordinates communicate between the Bank, Borrowers and Lenders
  • Prepare and issue notices related to facility operations


Qualifications and Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting, or Business Administration.
  • Relevant working experience in a bank or financial institution, with exposure in Credit Risk Management/ Credit Analysis/ Credit Administration
  • Proficient in computer skills, including MS Access, Excel, and Word.
  • Strong time management abilities.
  • Attention to detail, good problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
