Job Summary:

Our Client, a well-established Bank in Malaysia is seeking a Company Secretary for the organisation. The successful candidate will be responsible for corporate secretarial work for the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all statutory and regulatory requirements in carrying out corporate secretarial functions.

  • Act as Company Secretary for the bank and it's related entities.

  • Serve as secretariat for Asset and Liability Management Committee (ALCO) meetings.
  • Submit statutory forms to the Companies Commission of Malaysia (CCM)
  • Fulfill submission requirements under Bank Negara Malaysia's Corporate Governance policy.
  • Maintain all statutory and secretarial records for the Bank and Company.
  • Attend Board and Board Committees meetings
  • Schedule meetings, prepare agendas, compile and distribute meeting papers
  • Document and follow up on matters arising

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Tertiary education in related field (ICSA/Corporate Administration) or similar discipline.
  • Member of MAICSA or relevant professional bodies or license secretary by Companies Commission of Malaysia.
  • Detailed oriented with good writing skills.
