Job Summary:

Our Client, a well-established Foreign Bank in Malaysia is seeking a person skilled and experienced in global payments operations processing & support to join their dynamic Payment Operations division. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing operations and processing support for the payments operations of the bank.

Key Responsibilities:

Remittance

  • Handle and monitor all domestic and international remittances according to BNM regulations.
    Process remittances via relevant channels within set deadlines.
  • Oversee Rentas payments and take follow-up actions as needed.
  • Track FX Bundle and FX tickets; address inquiries or issues with stakeholders.
  • Report incoming/outgoing transactions to the treasury team promptly, either manually or through the system.

Cheque Clearing

  • Process the clearing of cheques (inward/outward/inward return/outward return) within the specified cutoff times.

Fixed Deposit

  • Prepare and process fixed time deposit (FTD) transactions and ensure their completion.
  • Monitor daily FTD maturities and process internal entries and vouchers accordingly.

Loan

  • Prepare Loan Memos for drawdown/rollover activities based on client instructions.
  • Ensure all loan-related transactions are processed correctly.
  • Conduct pre-processing checks to confirm loan facilities are within set limits.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Tertiary education in a related field.
  • Relevant experience in a similar role.
  • Knowledge with payments processes related to both international and domestic payment transactions, ie:- SWIFT, IBG,JOMPAY, RPP, RENTAS as well as Foreign Exchange Policy (FEP).
