Candidate Terms

As part of the employment process, we gather and confirm as much relevant information as possible for your applied role. This ensures we select the best person for the role and meet various legislative obligations. If your application is successful, this information will be retained on your personal file.

The information you provide will assist us with the selection process. If you are the preferred candidate, further background checks may be undertaken for your applied role in addition to reference checking and qualification verification. These may include criminal history, credit check, fraud check, bankruptcy check, Police vetting, occupational registration verification, Licence verification, and occupational membership verification. As part of this employment and declaration form, we seek your written consent in advance to undertake such checks if you are the preferred candidate. To carry out pre-employment checks, you must provide some of your personal information to AGOT Global Synergies Limited and a third party engaged by AGOT Global Synergies Limited to carry out those checks on AGOT Global Synergies’ and/or the employer’s behalf. The information you provide will be used to complete pre-employment checks that may be necessary for the role. Your personal information would be stored securely and used for AGOT Global Synergies’ and/or the employer’s authorised functions and activities relating to your employment.

Candidate Declaration

I confirm that the information I have provided on this application and to AGOT Global Synergies Limited is complete and correct and that any untrue or misleading information will give my employer the right to terminate any employment offered. I understand that any offer of employment is subject to the company being satisfied with the results of a series of relevant checks, including references, eligibility to work in the UK, criminal convictions, probationary period, and a medical report (in line with the operation of the Equality Act 2010). Organisations can access the CIFAS Staff Fraud Database to report incidents of staff fraud. Once reported, prospective employers can access the database to check candidates have no reported cases of carrying out fraud in previous organisations.
