About the job Senior Integration Engineer (Boomi)
We are looking for a Senior Boomi Integration Engineer with strong hands-on experience in Boomi AtomSphere and enterprise integration development. In this role, you will design, build, deploy, and support scalable integrations connecting cloud and on-premise systems across the organization.
The ideal candidate combines solid Boomi expertise, strong API and integration design skills, and practical experience working with enterprise platforms in complex distributed environments.

Duration: 6 months, with possible extension
Rate: 25–33 USD/hour

Responsibilities
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support integrations using Boomi AtomSphere
- Build and maintain integrations between ERP, CRM, HR, finance, e-commerce, and other enterprise systems
- Develop reusable integration components, connectors, processes, and frameworks
- Create and maintain REST and SOAP APIs, web services, and event-driven integrations
- Implement data mapping, transformation, validation, and error-handling mechanisms
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to integrations, performance, and data quality
- Collaborate with business analysts, engineers, and stakeholders to translate business needs into technical solutions
- Contribute to integration architecture decisions related to scalability, maintainability, and security
- Improve integration standards, frameworks, documentation, and development practices
Must-have requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- 5+ years of professional experience in integration development
- 3+ years of hands-on experience with Boomi AtomSphere
- Strong experience designing and implementing enterprise integration solutions
- Strong knowledge of REST APIs and integration best practices
- Experience with SOAP, XML, JSON, and XSD
- Good understanding of data mapping, transformation, and integration data processing
- Experience integrating cloud and on-premise systems in hybrid environments
- Knowledge of integration patterns, asynchronous processing, middleware concepts, and message-based communication
- Experience with authentication and security standards such as OAuth, SAML, JWT, TLS
- Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills in distributed systems
- Experience with Git
- Good SQL and relational database knowledge
- Advanced English
Nice-to-have requirements
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, Groovy, JavaScript, or similar
- Familiarity with other iPaaS / middleware / ESB platforms besides Boomi
- Experience integrating enterprise systems such as Salesforce, NetSuite, SAP, Workday, Oracle, ServiceNow, or similar
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP
- Experience with DevOps and CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Azure DevOps
- Knowledge of event-driven architecture and messaging tools such as Kafka or RabbitMQ
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum
- Boomi certification (Professional Developer, Integration Architect) or willingness to obtain one
