Farm Manager

We're looking for an experienced, hands-on and commercially minded Farm Manager to lead the development and future production of a section of this large-scale avocado operation – taking ownership of a ~240 ha greenfield project and building world-class farming systems, infrastructure and teams, working closely with Executive Management

A results-driven agricultural leader who can build, develop and manage a large-scale farming operation from the ground up.

Proven ability to manage large teams and complex agricultural operations.

Strong hands-on experience in farm development, irrigation, machinery and infrastructure projects.

Ready to relocate to Munyati and live on the farm full time – this is a hands-on, on-site leadership role, not a FIFO, commuting or rotational position.

QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE
A relevant agricultural qualification is an advantage, but not essential given strong hands-on experience and references.

Experience
At least 5 years' farm management experience in commercial agriculture.

Orchard or other permanent crop experience preferred, but not a prerequisite.

Experience managing large-scale development projects would be advantageous.

Exposure to modern farming technologies and data-driven agriculture beneficial.

Skills & Competencies
Strong leadership, planning and organisational ability.
Sound mechanical aptitude and practical problem-solving skills.
Good English communication skills.
A valid driver's licence.
