A Wood Polymer Composite (WPC) Boards Factory Manager is responsible for setting up the new factory and overseeing the entire manufacturing process of wood polymer composite boards, which are made from a blend of wood fibers and thermoplastics. These boards are commonly used in furniture, decking, cladding, and interior/exterior construction due to their durability and resistance to moisture and decay.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Production Oversight:
    • Manage daily operations of the factory to ensure efficient production.
    • Monitor machinery, extrusion lines, and quality control processes.
  2. Team Management:
    • Supervise factory staff including technicians, operators, and quality inspectors.
    • Provide training, enforce safety standards, and ensure productivity.
  3. Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure boards meet industry standards and client specifications.
    • Address defects, implement quality control checks, and maintain records.
  4. Maintenance & Efficiency:
    • Oversee maintenance schedules for equipment.
    • Identify areas for process improvement to optimize output and reduce waste.
  5. Inventory & Supply Chain:
    • Manage raw material stocks (e.g., wood flour, polymers like PVC or PE).
    • Coordinate with procurement and logistics for timely delivery of inputs and outputs.
  6. Reporting & Compliance:
    • Generate production reports, cost analysis, and output forecasts.
    • Ensure compliance with environmental and industrial regulations.
  7. Product Development (optional but common):
    • Collaborate with R&D on new board designs, finishes, and formulations.
