Site-Based Engineer

1. SITE- BASED ENGINEER - Based in Mauritius 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Interprete and Implement Technical Drawings and Specifications.
• Coordinate with engineers, architects, consultants and subcontractors.
• Attend site meetings and provide input on construction issues and planning.
• Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
• Maintain accurate site records, including daily reports, attendance, and deliveries.
• Display the ability to interprete drawings, advise on site conditions, and raise R.F. Is with the relevant consultants.
• Supervise and generate bar bending schedules and formwork drawings as per design.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Degree or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Minimum 5 10 years of experience in a similar role within the construction Industry
• Proven track record of managing construction sites in Mauritius is an advantage or working as an Expatriate.
• Proficient in MS Office, MS Project and AUTOCAD.
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing site conditions.
