MEP Coordinator

1. MEP COORDINATOR: Based in Mauritius 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Review and coordinate MEP shop drawings and installation plans.
• Coordinate MEP works with Architectural and Structural elements of the project.
• Monitor MEP progress on site, ensuring compliance with project specifications, local regulations and safety standards with reference to the program of works.
• Schedule and oversee inspections, testing and commissioning of MEP systems.
• Ensure timeous submittals of and procurement of materials.
• Ensure that all MEP installations comply with Mauritian Building Codes and International standards as specified.
• Support the preparation of method statements and risk assessments.
• Prepare and present progress reports, coordination logs and MEP issue trackers.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Civil Engineering.
• Minimum of 5- 8 years of relevant experience in MEP Coordination within the construction sector.
• Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
• Strong command of project coordination software (AutoCAD, Revit MEP, MS Project, BuildSmart and CCS Candy)
