Foreman

Foreman - Based in Mauritius 

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and lead construction crews on site
• Coordinate daily tasks according to priorities and plans
• Collaborate with Construction manager, site engineers and site managers
• Interprete Blueprints, drawings and Project specifications
• Train New workers and mentor less experienced crew members

Qualifications:

• Diploma or relevant qualifications in Construction Management
• 10 years of experience as a construction foreman or similar supervisory role
• Ideal to have a Building Trade Background
• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and OSHA Safety Regulations
• Ability to read and interprete technical documents and blueprints
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Proficiency in MS project, Excel / Word and AutoCAD.

Working Conditions:

• Full time on site at a construction project
• Standard working hours with some overtime during critical project phases
• Acceptance of the Accountability and Responsibility that comes with the position
