Quantity Surveyor

SITE BASED QUANTITY SURVEYO - Based in Mauritius 

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and manage accurate project measurements and valuations
• Assist with Subcontractor and supplier procurement, including preparation and evaluation of tenders
• Administer contracts in accordance with FIDIC or other relevant contract terms
• Identify, value, manage and prepare variations and Contractual claims in collaboration with the site and design team
• Carry out regular site inspections to assess progress and ensure project Costs are aligned with budgets

Qualifications:

• Degree or equivalent in Quantity Surveying or Construction Management

• Proven experience in a similar site-based QS role within the construction industry
• Excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Proficiency in CCS- Candy, MS Projects, AutoCAD

Desirable:

• Professional membership (RICS or equivalent) or working toward chartership
• Minimum 3- 5 years site-based experience in residential/commercial/civil engineering/infrastructure and site construction.
