Job Summary: We are currently seeking a highly motivated and customer-oriented individual to join our team as an Airport Ground Staff – Ticketing & Check-in. In this role, you will be responsible for providing efficient and friendly service to passengers at the airport, including ticketing, check-in, and boarding procedures. Key Responsibilities: • Greet and assist passengers at the check-in counter, ensuring a smooth check-in process. • Issue tickets, process payments, and handle any ticketing inquiries or issues. • Check-in passengers and their baggage, ensuring all necessary documents and identification are in order. • Provide information to passengers regarding flight schedules, delays, and gate changes. • Assist passengers with boarding procedures and ensure all safety protocols are followed. • Handle any customer complaints or concerns in a professional and timely manner. • Collaborate with other airport staff to ensure efficient and seamless operations. • Maintain a clean and organized work area. Qualifications: • High school diploma or equivalent. • Previous experience in customer service or a similar role is preferred. • Knowledge of airline ticketing and check-in procedures is an asset. • Strong communication and interpersonal skills. • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously. • Must be able to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays. • Must be able to pass a background check and obtain necessary airport security clearance. Working Conditions: • This is a full-time position, with a minimum of 40 hours per week. • Shifts may vary and can include early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays. • Work is primarily indoors, but may involve some outdoor duties. • Must be able to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds.
