To strengthen the global IT team, our client is looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations) ERP Template Team Lead to ensure the successful operation, support, and continuous improvement of commercial off-the-shelf Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform(s), more specifically, templates. This role supports global commercial and customer-facing functions by overseeing system performance, vendor coordination, business alignment, and platform optimisation.
Responsibilities
- Ensure smooth operation and functional performance of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (F&O) platform, with a strong focus on template governance and standardization across Finance and Supply Chain Management (SCM) modules.
- Manage service requests, incidents, and enhancements related to Dynamics 365 F&O templates and core ERP functionalities.
- Collaborate with Finance, Sales, Supply Chain, and Customer Service teams for needs assessment.
- Coordinate ERP vendor support, updates, and license compliance.
- Lead release planning, testing, and deployment of template updates, system upgrades, and configuration changes within Dynamics 365 F&O.
- Monitor ERP usage and adoption; gather user feedback and performance metrics.
- Ensure proper integration of Dynamics 365 F&O templates with surrounding systems and platforms.
- Maintain access controls and ensure compliance with GDPR and data handling policies.
- Support training, user onboarding, and functional documentation.
- Identify opportunities to improve ERP processes, workflows, and automation.
Requirements
- 6–10 years of experience in application service delivery or ERP platform management, with strong knowledge of COTS ERP solutions and strong exposure to Supply Chain Management (SCM) and Finance modules.
- Proven track record with Microsoft Dynamics 365 (Finance & Operations) ERP projects.
- Strong background in application service delivery, ERP platform management, or template governance within Dynamics environments
- Experience in a commercial or customer service environment in an international context is highly preferred.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Systems, Business IT, or related field.
- Solid understanding of ERP processes (sales, customer service, finance, supply chain).
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL).
- Strong communication, coordination, and vendor management skills.
- Knowledge of GDPR and customer data protection requirements.
- Fluent in English.
