Cloud Solution Architect (with German)

Akindra Talents is a Romania-based IT workforce company providing flexible IT staffing solutions and support to global customers. Based in the heart of Transylvania, we focus on connecting talented individuals with our clients across Europe. We build and manage remote operational support and development teams, while also supporting our freelance collaborators during their journey.

For one of our key clients in the energy and infrastructure sector, we are currently looking for several experienced Cloud Solution Architects to join a long-term program focused on driving the company's large-scale cloud transformation initiative.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop dynamic, scalable, stable, and cost-effective cloud architectures in Microsoft Azure.
• Analyze and evaluate existing architectures and advise on transformation or optimization strategies.
• Consult on the creation and modernization of cloud-based applications.
• Support the expansion and further development of cloud-based system landscapes.
• Develop best practices for cloud operations focusing on security, compliance, reliability, scalability, and cost efficiency.
• Identify automation potential, create standards for automated cloud operations, and provide consulting on implementation.
• Translate performance-related business requirements into tailored cloud architectures that align with the latest technology standards.
• Collaborate closely with business units, IT, and internal and external service providers to ensure the successful delivery of assigned work packages.

Requirements

• Several years of experience designing and validating cloud-based architectures.
• Strong understanding of IT infrastructure and architecture in public cloud environments (Microsoft Azure preferred).
• Azure certifications are an advantage.
• Excellent communication and consulting skills in German and English.
• Experience in managing service providers.
• Strong customer orientation, flexibility, and problem-solving mindset.
• Proactive attitude, initiative, and enthusiasm for cloud innovation.

Nice to Have

• Experience with Kubernetes or Docker.
• Knowledge of classic and cloud-based database systems.
• Practical experience with agile methods and IT service management (ITIL).
• Understanding of data protection, cybersecurity, and ISMS standards.
