We build and manage remote operational support and development teams, while also supporting our freelance collaborators during their journey.

We are looking for an experienced Training Manager to support a large-scale digital transformation project focused on modernizing maintenance processes. The project aims to replace traditional Excel-based data collection with a fully digital system that connects partner companies to centralized maintenance platforms for street lighting, gas, and electricity networks. This role is key in ensuring that all users are well-trained, informed, and ready to adopt the new system effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Develop, coordinate, and implement a comprehensive training program for the new digital maintenance solution.
  • Collaborate with training managers from other projects to ensure consistent training standards and alignment across the overall program.
  • Design and structure the training plan in line with updated business processes and project objectives.
  • Organize and schedule training sessions (both in-person and online), ensuring high-quality delivery and adherence to technical and didactic standards.
  • Manage and support trainers, ensuring they are technically and pedagogically prepared.
  • Create and maintain training materials, such as e-learning content, user guides, and video tutorials.
  • Act as the main communication point for training-related topics, sharing updates and information across internal communication channels.
  • Coordinate closely with the project management and IT teams to align on technical updates and process optimizations.
  • Provide consulting on process improvements and ensure smooth integration of new tools and workflows into existing structures.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in developing and managing large-scale training programs, ideally within digital transformation or IT rollout projects.
  • Excellent analytical, conceptual, and communication skills.
  • Strong stakeholder management and conflict resolution abilities.
  • Independent, proactive, and results-oriented approach to work.
  • Fluency in both German and English (spoken and written).
  • High resilience and the ability to manage complex project environments.
  • Experience in agile project management within transformation contexts.
  • Familiarity with SAP or commercial reporting tools (e.g., Apptio) for project controlling.
  • Understanding of budget and procurement processes in corporate settings.
  • Advantageous: experience with maintenance processes at distribution network operators or regional energy supply companies.
