Akindra Talents (member of the Belgian Brainbridge Group) is a Romania-based IT workforce company providing flexible (IT) Staffing solutions and support to global customers. At Akindra Talents (based in the heart of Transylvania, Romania), we focus on connecting talents to our customers all over Europe. We build and manage remote (operational) support and development teams and offer support to our (freelance) collaborators during their journey.

We are currently looking for an experienced Erlang Developer with strong DevOps skills to support the analysis and further development of an existing inventory system. This role requires a combination of backend analysis, architecture assessment, and pipeline optimization. The goal is to ensure code quality, improve CI/CD efficiency, and provide guidance on managing the Erlang codebase long-term.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze and assess the Erlang components used in the backend and on devices, identifying architectural issues and proposing improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Product Owner to provide strategic input on handling and maintaining the Erlang codebase.
  • Develop new features and enhancements in the Erlang-based inventory system.
  • Design, optimize, and maintain the CI/CD pipeline, primarily using GitLab and GitHub.
  • Implement and improve quality assurance procedures, including unit testing and test automation.
  • Actively participate in remote team collaboration, contributing to code quality, system stability, and deployment practices.

Requirements

  • Strong hands-on experience in Erlang development.
  • Solid knowledge of CI/CD practices, with direct experience using GitLab and GitHub for pipeline development and integration.
  • Proven track record in implementing test automation and unit testing strategies.
  • Ability to analyze backend architecture and provide clear technical recommendations.
  • Confident communicator in German, capable of aligning closely with development and product teams.
  • Independent, detail-oriented, and proactive in identifying and resolving issues.
