Akindra Talents (member of the Belgian Brainbridge Group) is a Romania-based IT workforce company providing flexible (IT) staffing solutions and support to global customers. At Akindra Talents (based in the heart of Transylvania, Romania), we focus on connecting talents to our customers all over Europe. We build and manage remote (operational) support and development teams and offer support to our (freelance) collaborators during their journey.

We are currently looking for an experienced .NET Engineer to support the long-term development and stability of the Workflow Utility for Operational Planning (WUP) a system critical to Congestion Management processes. The applications performance and reliability are essential, as it supports real-time operational personnel in high-stakes shift work. This role focuses on delivering robust software components, troubleshooting efficiently, and improving the products overall user experience.


Responsibilities

  • Develop clean, efficient, and maintainable code based on user stories and architectural guidance.
  • Implement new features and improve existing components within the WUP Cockpit and related systems.
  • Ensure reliability and robustness across all software layersfrontend, backend, and integration.
  • Design user-centric software that aligns with external business process requirements.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues quickly to support operational effectiveness.
  • Test and validate software iteratively before formal release to ensure quality and performance.
  • Regularly update and maintain code to reflect evolving customer requirements.
  • Provide coaching and training to ensure effective use of development-supporting tools, particularly within Azure DevOps environments.
  • Collaborate with architects and project leads to ensure alignment with the overall technical solution.


Requirements

  • Strong experience in .NET Core 8 and application development on the Windows platform.
  • Solid understanding of Blazor, Angular, and JavaScript libraries for frontend development.
  • Knowledge of WPF and frontend development using XAML.
  • Excellent skills in C#, Visual Studio, and Resharper.
  • Familiarity with OAuth2.0, Hangfire, and web integration technologies (e.g., REST).
  • Proficient in working with relational databases, particularly SQL Server and Oracle.
  • Conceptual knowledge of dependency injection, software design patterns, and CI pipelines.
  • Experience with Managed File Transfer is a plus.
  • Strong communication skills in English and German.


Must-haves

  • 3+ years of experience in .NET development and related technologies
  • 3+ years working with relational databases (preferably MSSQL Server and Oracle)
  • 3+ years of experience in frontend development
