Full-stack web developer (with German)

Akindra Talents is a Romania-based IT workforce company providing flexible IT staffing solutions and support to global customers. Based in the heart of Transylvania, we focus on connecting talented individuals with our clients across Europe. We build and manage remote operational support and development teams, while also supporting our freelance collaborators during their journey.

We are looking for two experienced full-stack developers to support a transformation project for one of our clients in the energy sector. The goal is to replace an existing legacy fat client application with a modern, secure, and scalable web application while extending its functionality. The project offers a mix of architectural design, full-stack development, and integration work, with a strong focus on collaboration and technical excellence.

Responsibilities

• Analyze requirements in collaboration with the business and development teams.
• Review and analyze legacy application code (VBA, Access, Azure SQL).
• Design the IT architecture and software for the new web application.
• Develop front-end and back-end components, including new modules and services.
• Create interfaces to internal and external systems via REST API and Azure API Management.
• Connect and develop third-party systems and databases.
• Implement test automation and perform functional testing.
• Ensure high-quality UI/UX development aligned with corporate design standards.
• Document program code (inline) and prepare detailed system documentation.
• Ensure compliance with IT security best practices (OWASP, Security by Design).

Requirements

• Strong experience in web application development
• Excellent knowledge of JavaScript and TypeScript
• Expertise with React.js (preferred) or Angular
• Proven experience in backend development
• Proficiency in Python and API development using FastAPI
• Solid database experience with Azure SQL
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Hands-on experience with software development in Microsoft Azure environments
• Independent, structured, and results-driven working style
• High reliability and ownership over technical tasks
• Excellent communication skills in German and English (spoken and written)
• Desirable: Experience working with regional energy supply companies
