Our client specializes in the distribution of chemicals across emerging markets worldwide, focusing on industries such as home care, nutrition, and mining. The company has its own local logistics assets and provides services including storage, value-added logistics, and just-in-time deliveries. With over 3000 employees the annual revenues exceed 2.5 billion USD, reflecting its significant presence in the chemical distribution sector.

To strengthen the global IT team, our client is looking for a Power BI Developer to transform data into clear, actionable insights through interactive dashboards, reports, and optimised data models. This role bridges data and decision-making by delivering accurate, timely, and business-focused analytics while ensuring data quality, performance, and security.

Responsibilities

• Design & develop dashboards & reports with needed security (Row Level Security);
• Write DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to perform calculations and build KPIs;
• Ensure data accuracy and performance by optimising queries and visuals;
• Provide training & support to end-users and maintain documentation for data sources, models, and reporting logic. Promote a self-service reporting culture;
• Troubleshoot, debug, and optimise reporting solutions for performance and usability;
• Collaborate with stakeholders to validate and refine reporting solutions;
• Participate in UAT and deploy changes to production environments.

Requirements

• 2-4 years of experience with Power BI development in a business or enterprise setting;
• Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or related field;
• Proficiency in Power BI (Power Query, DAX, data visualisation best practices);
• Strong SQL skills and understanding of data warehousing concepts;
• Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills;
• Experience with Azure Data Services (e.g,. Data Lake, Fabric) and DBT is a plus;
• Experience with data modeling and DAX is essential; exposure to global environments is a plus;
• Fluent in English.
