DevOps Engineer

Description

We are looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to support a large-scale platform migration for our client. The project focuses on migrating microservice workloads from Microsoft Azure to the Elia Digital Platform (EDP), a hybrid cloud platform, in collaboration with cross-project teams. The role involves consulting, coordination, and technical support to ensure a smooth transition while maintaining scalability, reliability, and security.

Responsibilities

• Consult and coordinate migration of microservice workloads from Azure to EDP
• Analyze existing deployments and adapt them to the target platform requirements
• Support application deployments and create technical documentation
• Diagnose and resolve issues arising during migration
• Coordinate with architecture and DevOps teams on both source and target platforms
• Provide consulting for setup, configuration, and deployment on the new platform
• Advise on CI/CD integration, automation workflows, and DevOps best practices
• Ensure scalability, security, and observability during and after migration

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience as a DevOps engineer
• Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (Azure) and microservice architectures
• Hands-on expertise with ArgoCD, Helm, CI/CD concepts, Git, and scripting
• Solid experience with Kubernetes, Kafka, CEPH, PostgreSQL, and container orchestration
• Skilled in monitoring, troubleshooting, and problem resolution
• Fluent English (C1); German is a plus
