Draftsman (Mid–Senior Level)

Job brief

We are seeking a Software Engineer to execute the full lifecycle of the product development, by programming well-designed, efficient, and testable code that meets specifications.

Responsibilities

Technical Drafting & Design
Prepare detailed architectural, structural, civil, and/or MEP drawings based on project
requirements.
Develop shop drawings, as-built drawings, and technical layouts in accordance with UAE
standards.
Ensure drawings comply with Abu Dhabi Municipality regulations and other applicable authority
requirements.
Review and revise drawings based on engineer and client feedback.
Maintain drawing register and version control for all project documentation.
Project Coordination
Coordinate closely with engineers, architects, consultants, and site teams to ensure design
accuracy.
Attend technical meetings when required to clarify design and drafting matters.
Support project teams during authority submissions and approvals.
Assist in resolving technical discrepancies and site-related drawing modifications.
Compliance & Quality Control
Ensure all drawings adhere to company standards and UAE construction codes.
Verify dimensions, specifications, and material details for accuracy.
Maintain confidentiality of project data and company documentation.

Requirements:

Diploma or Bachelors Degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or related technical field.
Minimum 5–8 years of drafting experience within the UAE.
Mandatory experience working on projects in Abu Dhabi.
Strong knowledge of Abu Dhabi Municipality regulations and submission processes.
Experience in authority drawing submissions (ADM, Civil Defense, ADDC, etc.).
Proficiency in AutoCAD (mandatory).
Knowledge of Revit, BIM, or other 3D modeling software is an advantage.
Strong understanding of construction methods, materials, and technical detailing.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
