Position: Mason Foreman for Civil Road Project
Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Mason Foreman to join our team for a civil road project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in masonry and construction, with a proven track record of managing and supervising a team of masons.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the work of a team of masons on the construction site
- Ensure that all work is carried out according to project plans, specifications, and safety standards
- Monitor and control the quality of work performed by the masons
- Train and mentor new masons on the team
- Schedule and assign tasks to masons, ensuring timely completion of work
- Order and maintain an adequate supply of materials and equipment needed for masonry work
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any potential safety hazards and take corrective actions
- Collaborate with other foremen and project managers to ensure smooth progress of the project
- Keep accurate records of work progress, materials used, and labor hours
- Communicate effectively with project managers and other team members to provide updates and address any issues that may arise
Requirements:
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mason Foreman in a construction or civil engineering project
- Proven ability to lead and manage a team of masons
- Strong knowledge of masonry techniques, materials, and tools
- Familiarity with construction plans and specifications
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
- Valid UAE driving license is preferred
