Position: Lifting Foreman

Salary: 6800 AED

Key Responsibilities – Lifting & Rigging (Offshore)

• Supervise and coordinate all lifting and rigging activities to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient operations.
• Lead lifting teams and ensure adherence to ADNOC lifting standards, HSE requirements, and operational procedures.
• Support offshore logistics by ensuring cargo is lifted, handled, and positioned safely and on time.

Operational Duties

• Supervise day-to-day lifting operations in line with approved lifting plans and procedures.
• Coordinate with riggers, crane operators, signalers, and lifting crews during cargo handling and equipment movement.
• Oversee both routine and non-routine lifting activities ensuring safe execution and proper load control.

Planning & Verification

• Review lifting plans, risk assessments, and load calculations for complex or critical lifts.
• Verify load weight, center of gravity, rigging selection, and equipment suitability prior to lifting.
• Ensure proper communication and signaling is maintained during all lifting activities.

Inspection & Compliance

• Conduct pre-use inspections of cranes, rigging gear, shackles, slings, spreader bars, and lifting accessories.
• Verify equipment certifications, color coding, and compliance with inspection schedules.
• Identify, tag, and isolate defective lifting equipment and initiate repair or replacement.

Marine & Deck Operations

• Supervise loading and unloading of supply vessels ensuring safe lifting, correct securing, and proper stowage.
• Ensure safe handling of hazardous materials, fragile cargo, and heavy lifts.
• Maintain clear deck space and ensure hazardous zones are properly controlled.
