Position: Flatbed Driver

Salary: 2000 AED Food And Accommodation

Location: Abu Dhabi

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate a flatbed truck to transport goods and materials to various locations within the UAE

- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment and techniques

- Secure loads using straps, chains, and other securing devices to ensure safe transportation

- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition

- Plan and follow the most efficient routes to ensure timely delivery

- Adhere to all traffic laws and regulations, as well as company policies and procedures

- Maintain accurate records of deliveries and submit necessary documentation to the office

- Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other team members

- Perform basic maintenance on the truck, such as checking oil and tire pressure, and report any issues to the maintenance team

- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe work environment

Requirements:

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Valid UAE driver's license with a clean driving record

- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a flatbed driver

- Experience in the transportation industry, preferably in flatbed trucking

- Knowledge of traffic laws, regulations, and routes in the UAE

- Ability to operate a flatbed truck and other equipment safely and efficiently

- Strong communication and teamwork skills

- Physically fit and able to lift and move heavy objects

- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions

- Flexibility to work long hours and weekends as needed

- Basic knowledge of vehicle maintenance and repair is a plus
