Position: Scaffolder Supervisor

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Scaffolder Supervisor to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the scaffolding operations on our various construction sites, ensuring the safe and efficient installation, modification, and dismantling of scaffolding structures.

Key Responsibilities:

- Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of a team of scaffolders, ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with safety regulations and company standards

- Plan and schedule scaffolding activities, taking into consideration project timelines and resource availability

- Conduct regular inspections of scaffolding structures to ensure they are safe, stable, and compliant with relevant codes and regulations

- Train and mentor new scaffolders, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and knowledge

- Maintain accurate records of scaffolding materials, equipment, and inventory

- Communicate with project managers and other site supervisors to coordinate scaffolding activities and ensure project requirements are met

- Monitor and report on the progress of scaffolding operations, identifying any issues or delays and implementing corrective actions as necessary

- Ensure all scaffolding equipment is properly maintained and stored, and arrange for repairs or replacements as needed

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, and promote a culture of safety and teamwork among the scaffolding team.

Qualifications and Experience:

- High school diploma or equivalent

- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a scaffolder, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role

- Valid scaffolding certification and other relevant safety certifications

- Strong knowledge of scaffolding techniques, materials, and equipment

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team

- Proven ability to plan and organize work effectively, and meet project deadlines

- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality and safety

- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
