Position: Crane Operator

Key Responsibilities:

- Operate different types of cranes, such as mobile, tower, and overhead cranes, according to job requirements

- Perform pre-operational checks and ensure all safety protocols are followed before and during crane operations

- Inspect and maintain crane equipment, reporting any defects or malfunctions to the relevant personnel

- Read and interpret load charts, blueprints, and other technical documents to determine the appropriate crane and rigging techniques for each job

- Communicate effectively with team members and follow instructions from supervisors to ensure safe and efficient operations

- Rig and secure loads to be lifted, using appropriate slings, chains, and other rigging equipment

- Operate crane controls to lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment

- Monitor weather conditions and adjust crane operations as necessary to ensure safety

- Keep accurate records of daily activities, including equipment usage, maintenance, and any incidents or accidents that occur

- Adhere to all company policies and procedures, as well as local and federal regulations, at all times
