Position Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Budget Controller to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial planning and analysis, with a proven track record of managing budgets and ensuring financial stability for the organization. The Budget Controller will be responsible for developing and implementing budget plans, monitoring expenses, and providing financial insights to support decision-making processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Develop and implement budget plans for the organization, in line with the company's goals and objectives
- - Monitor and analyze financial data to ensure compliance with budget plans and identify areas for improvement
- - Prepare and present financial reports and analysis to senior management, highlighting key insights and recommendations
- - Collaborate with department heads to understand their budget needs and provide guidance on budget management
- - Identify and implement cost-saving initiatives to improve the company's financial performance
- - Monitor cash flow and financial transactions to ensure accuracy and timely processing
- - Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with financial regulations and policies
- - Provide training and guidance to staff on budget management and financial processes
- - Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in budget management to continuously improve processes and strategies
Qualifications:
- - Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- - Minimum of 8 years of experience in cost control or financial management
- - Strong understanding of financial principles and budget management techniques
- - Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- - Thorough understanding of accounting principles and budgeting procedures
- - Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- - Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- - Attention to detail and accuracy
- - Experience in the transportation or logistics industry is a plus
