Position Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager with a background in construction. manufacturing, and transport industry to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the procurement process for all construction materials, equipment, and services required for our projects. This is a full-time, permanent position based in Abu Dhabi.

Key Responsibilities:

  • - Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of materials, equipment, and services for construction projects.
  • - Source and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts and agreements, and manage supplier relationships.
  • - Review and approve purchase orders, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • - Monitor market trends and prices to identify cost-saving opportunities.
  • - Work closely with project managers to determine project requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials and equipment.
  • - Collaborate with the finance team to manage budget and track expenses related to procurement activities.
  • - Conduct regular performance evaluations of suppliers and make recommendations for improvements.
  • - Ensure compliance with all legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
  • - Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including project managers, engineers, and other team members.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • - Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
  • - Minimum of 15 years of experience in procurement, preferably in the construction industry.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field is required.
    ️ Certification in CPPM (Certified Professional Procurement Manager) or CPP (Certified Purchasing Professional) is considered a plus.
  • - Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
  • - Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • - Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • - Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement software.
  • - Knowledge of local and international procurement laws and regulations.
  • - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • - Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
