Business Development Manager (India)

We are a Singapore-based wedding photography business looking to expand our services to Chennai, India. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to lead our expansion efforts in Chennai. The primary responsibility of the Business Development Manager will be to develop and execute a business plan for the successful expansion of our wedding photography business to Chennai. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for overseas marketing and business development in Chennai to achieve our targets and milestones within the given timelines.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct market research and analysis to understand the local wedding photography industry, identify potential customers and competitors, and develop a plan for market entry.
• Develop a comprehensive business strategy for expanding the wedding photoshoot business in Chennai. This should include identifying target markets, developing marketing plans, and establishing relationships with key stakeholders.
• Create and implement marketing and sales strategies to increase brand awareness and drive business growth in Chennai.
• Establish and maintain relationships with key industry players, including wedding planners, event organizers, and wedding venues.
• Meet and exceed revenue and profit targets for the business in Chennai.
• Manage the budget for overseas marketing and business development activities in Chennai.
• Monitor and report on the performance of the Chennai expansion project, including progress toward targets and milestones.
• Ensure compliance with all local laws, regulations, and business practices.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in business development, marketing, or sales, preferably in the wedding photography industry.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
• Willingness to travel within India and overseas as required.
