Full stack Java Software Engineer L2 (CM/SS)

Gotransverse is seeking a Full Stack Engineer L2 to join our Engineering team. Our growing software company needs a strong team player with a positive attitude who has strong experience in all aspects of SDLC

What we are looking for

• Enthusiastic individuals looking for fun, camaraderie and challenges
• 3+ years of application development experience
• We work mostly with Java. Nice to have Typescript.
• Experience with Spring framework
• Experience with Hibernate ORM framework or similar
• We work mostly with relational databases like MySQL and event-streaming with Kafka. Were still interested if youve used other persistence and adjacent technology like Redis, Postgres, DynamoDB, and ElasticSearch.
• Experience with K8S implementations is nice to have
• Ownership mentality and can produce quality results with guidance
• Enjoy learning new technologies as they emerge
• Strong knowledge of computer science fundamentals: data structures and algorithms
• Bachelors degree in computer science or comparable field, or equivalent self-study

What you'll do (Design & Development)

• Operate independently with assistance from more experienced developers as needed
• Participate in the full SDLC; including development, estimation, planning, and design applications
• Contribute to overall system design, architecture, security, scalability, reliability, and performance of applications
• Support the build and deployment pipelines; may assist in diagnosing / solving production support issues
• Support technical design and delivery of complex features across multiple systems.
• Help create documentation and training related to technology stacks and standards within assigned team
• Engage / collaborate with other engineering teams to ensure timely, high-quality solutions
• Provide end-to-end support to application
