Ledger Wallet is a Desktop and Mobile application that helps you manage all your blockchain-backed assets. It’s built with TypeScript and React, using Electron for the desktop version and React Native for the mobile app. Our services are web applications that run within the Ledger Wallet environment. They’re built with TypeScript, React, and Next.js on the frontend, and Scala Typelevel on the backend. These services connect Ledger Wallet’s core primitives to the DeFi ecosystem, offering our customers a seamless and unique trading experience. You’ll join Ledger’s Consumer Services business unit, which covers trading, payments, and transactions. The team’s mission is to design secure, intuitive, and innovative ways for users to engage with their crypto assets and the broader DeFi ecosystem. Our work spans the ongoing evolution of key transactional products — such as Earn (staking and borrowing), Swap, Buy, Sell, and Cards — as well as the development of advanced DeFi features like Perpetuals and Prediction Markets. We also collaborate closely with partners to expand the Ledger ecosystem and continuously enhance the user experience.

Missions

• The ideal profile is an autonomous, results-oriented expert who can take full ownership of projects from inception to delivery.
• Build on Ledger DeFi ecosystem: You’ll join the Consumer Services engineering team to build innovative features and integrate partners that power our DeFi primitives ecosystem.
• Extreme Ownership: Take extreme ownership and drive the technical development (webApp, desktop and mobile) of the various features you’ll work on.
• Autonomy & Project Drive: Proactively lead topics to conclusion, operate with a high degree of autonomy, and push projects forward independently.
• Actively participate in code reviews, promote code quality and best practices, and champion the smart adoption of AI tools.

What we're looking for

• Experience & Impact: Proven track record with a minimum of 5 years of experience in professional front-end software development, demonstrating the ability to deliver high-impact projects with minimal ramp-up time
• Core Expertise: Expertise in TypeScript and React, coupled with a deep understanding of strong software engineering and architectural principles.
• Quality & Testing: High proficiency in testing methodologies and tools (Jest, Playwright, React Testing Library), with an uncompromising focus on code quality and application robustness.
• Design & UX: Acute attention to UI/UX details and a proactive mindset to continuously optimize user flows and overall product experience.
• Modern Practices: Strong familiarity with modern development practices, including Agentic development, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies, essential for autonomous and efficient delivery.
