QA Engineer

StorONE is looking for an experienced QA Engineer who will play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our innovative storage solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Test requirements, reports, strategies and test plans using both automation tools and manual tests
• Utilize automation tools and RESTful APIs to write/modify tests.
• Analyse problems/bugs on a deep level.
• Be responsible for green-lighting versions for production.
• Devise procedures to inspect and report quality issues
• Monitor all operations that affect quality
• Supervise and guide inspectors, technicians and other staff
• Assure the reliability and consistency of production by checking processes and final output
• Appraise customers requirements and make sure they are tested and satisfied
• Report all malfunctions to production executives to ensure immediate action
• Facilitate proactive solutions by collecting and analysing quality data
• Review current standards and policies

Qualifications:

• At least 2 years of software testing experience, preferable Computer Science / Software Engineering degree
• Experience from a storage company- required
• Experience with scripting or coding.
• Experience in IT is preferred
• In-depth experience with Windows, VMware and Linux.
• Experience with analysing technical logs and parsing data intelligently

• Experience or in-depth understanding of NAS enterprise storage: CIFS NFS
• Experience or in-depth understanding of block enterprise storage: iSCSI, FC NVMeOF
• Experience or in-depth understanding of object enterprise storage
• Proven experience as a quality assurance manager or relevant role
• Thorough knowledge of methodologies of quality assurance and standards
• Good knowledge of MS Office and databases
• Great attention to detail and a result driven approach
