AlediumHR is representing a global pharmaceutical organization preparing to open a new pharmacy location in Clarinda, Iowa, in Spring 2026.

They're hiring a Staff Pharmacist to be part of the core team supporting the launch and daily operations. This is an hourly position with a strong focus on patient care, consistency, and clinical accuracy.

Where You Fit In

This position is centered on delivering safe, effective, and efficient pharmacy services. You'll be in a patient-facing role, working closely with both patients and providers while supporting a structured and organized operation.

You won't be managing the business—but you will play a key role in making sure everything runs smoothly day to day.

What Your Day Actually Looks Like

  • Accurately prepare and dispense medications in compliance with all regulatory standards
  • Review prescriptions for accuracy, interactions, and overall appropriateness
  • Work directly with patients to answer questions and explain medication therapies
  • Support ongoing patient care by reviewing therapies and flagging any concerns
  • Collaborate with prescribers when clarification or adjustments are needed
  • Maintain clean, accurate, and compliant documentation within the pharmacy system

You'll also support the operational side without owning it

  • Assist with prescription claims processing and help resolve basic billing issues
  • Follow all procedures related to controlled substances, safety, and record keeping
  • Help maintain an organized workflow alongside technicians and pharmacy staff
  • Step in to support patient concerns and ensure a positive experience

What You Bring to the Table

  • PharmD or Bachelor's in Pharmacy from an accredited program
  • Active, unrestricted pharmacist license
  • 1+ year of retail or ambulatory pharmacy experience preferred
  • Strong attention to detail and comfort working in a fast-paced environment
