About the job Site Manager

The Site Manager will oversee production, develop strategy, and provide functional direction to supervisors, team leads, and coordinators. This role is responsible for driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes to ensure profitable growth and operational excellence.

Responsibilities:

  • Direct all operations and production activities in alignment with Global Supply Chain business plans and strategic company goals.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve zero-harm safety and environmental performance objectives.
  • Work with the Director of Operations to establish short- and long-term production goals.
  • Oversee overall production planning and resource allocation.
  • Partner with functional managers to determine materials, space, equipment, personnel needs, and implement operational processes.
  • Communicate strategic goals and vision for the site to ensure alignment with the companys mission.
  • Evaluate performance against production goals and adjust resources as needed to optimize quality, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Analyze key business performance data and maintain knowledge of market trends and industry best practices.
  • Supervise day-to-day operations and troubleshoot complex issues related to production and customer service.
  • Lead engineering projects and new product launches.
  • Manage Lean improvement projects and act as the liaison between Lean personnel and operations teams.
  • Drive Lean Six-Sigma and 6S initiatives to improve efficiency, process capability, and employee engagement.
  • Identify and implement process improvements to optimize working conditions, resource utilization, and overall efficiency.
  • Set performance expectations and deploy resources to ensure measurable operational success.
  • Provide plant leadership and direction, fostering a culture of accountability, integrity, and high performance.
  • Engage in conflict resolution, motivating teams to achieve exceptional results.
  • Act as a visionary leader, identifying next steps to elevate plant performance and effectively communicating strategies.
  • Coach and mentor employees, preparing them for higher levels of responsibility.

Education & Experience:

  • Bachelors degree required (Technical or Engineering field preferred).
  • 5-10 years of manufacturing experience.
  • 5 years of production management experience.

Technical & Leadership Competencies:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
  • 1-2 years of proven leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Positive work history with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Professional appearance and attitude with a strong ability to influence and lead teams.
  • Flexible schedule based on business needs and project demands.
