Job Description:
Job Title: AI Data Annotation Specialist (Proficient in Photoshop)
Responsibilities:
Perform various data annotation tasks, including 2D bounding boxes, image classification, and segmentation
Participate in structured annotation tasks (e.g., document segmentation, labeling of questions/answers/explanations, etc.)
Use Photoshop proficiently for image processing, including but not limited to background removal, occlusion handling, layer editing, complex cropping, and multi-element separation
Split and organize mixed text-image content according to project guidelines
Follow annotation standards strictly to ensure quality and consistency
Collaborate with QA to identify issues and implement corrections and optimizations
Requirements:
Prior experience in data annotation is preferred (candidates with strong Photoshop skills but no experience will also be considered)
Proficient in Photoshop, capable of independently handling background removal, layer manipulation, masking, content cleanup, and region occlusion
Ability to process complex images (e.g., mixed text-image layouts, partial edits, multi-element separation)
Detail-oriented, steady, and able to focus on meticulous tasks for extended periods
Strong comprehension skills with the ability to accurately follow complex annotation guidelines
English proficiency as a working language (knowledge of Swahili or other local languages is a plus)
