Location: Tampa, FL (local candidates only)
Compensation: $45,000$60,000 base salary + $10,000$20,000 in incentives (Total Comp: $55,000$80,000)
Schedule: Hybrid (in-office and remote)

Position Overview

An established insurance agency in Tampa, FL is seeking an experienced Licensed Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance Agent to join their professional, client-focused team. This hybrid opportunity offers a strong compensation structure, growth potential, and a collaborative environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.

  • Provide accurate insurance quotes and present tailored coverage options.

  • Manage renewals, endorsements, and policy changes with attention to compliance.

  • Utilize agency software systems including Epic, Quote Rush, Citizens Insurance (Easylinks), RingCentral, Microsoft Outlook, and Excel.

  • Represent the agency at client meetings and community events with a professional demeanor.

  • Consistently meet or exceed sales and client retention goals.

Required Qualifications

  • Active Florida P&C license in good standing (required).

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in property & casualty insurance sales or service.

  • Proven track record in closing new business and maintaining client relationships.

  • Excellent communication skills articulate, professional, and confident on the phone and in person.

  • Professional presentation and appearance suitable for client-facing engagements.

  • Stable employment history with demonstrated reliability and performance.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

  • Experience working with Citizens Insurance in Florida.

  • College education preferred.
