Position Summary:
We seek a talented Bilingual Recruiter / HR Generalist to lead recruitment efforts and support our HR operations in Colombia and the U.S. This role requires a service-driven professional who can handle both high-touch candidate sourcing and day-to-day HR tasks, and who embodies our company values and commitment to excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Source, screen, interview, and assess candidates for roles including:
- Customer Service, Reception/Intake, Sales, Paralegals, Legal Assistants (Colombia & Latin America)
- Attorneys (U.S.-based)
- Fill 35 open positions per month, adjusting as organizational needs shift.
- Conduct video interviews and English language assessments (C1 level or above required for most positions).
- Collaborate with hiring managers to define job profiles, sourcing strategies, and selection processes.
- Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, working with the Colombian EOR partner for payroll changes, bonuses, and compliance.
- Support HR operations such as benefits administration, employee relations, policy/process improvement, and team communications.
- Help build and improve HR systems and workflows from the ground up.
- Uphold and champion company core values in all recruitment and employee management activities.
- Collect and verify references for final-stage candidates.
- Ensure candidates provide a tailored cover letter explaining their motivation to join the firm.
- Maintain clear documentation of all hiring activity and communicate regularly with leadership.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business, Psychology, or related field (preferred but not mandatory).
- Proven experience as an internal/external recruiter or HR generalist, ideally in a fast-paced or small/medium-sized company.
- Native-level Spanish; advanced English (C1 or above; near-native preferred for attorney and leadership roles).
- Strong interviewing and candidate evaluation skills (competency and values-based).
- Familiarity with Colombian labor laws and EOR model compliance.
- Excellent communication, organization, and process management abilities.
- High integrity, accountability, and service attitude.
- Able to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and coordinate across multicultural teams.
- Commitment to full-time employment; not compatible with portfolio/freelance positions.
- Technical proficiency in popular HR and recruitment tools a plus.
Work Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00am 5:00pm Central Time
Flexibility required during U.S. time zone changes.
