Role Summary:

Responsible for managing communication and automation tasks related to SCADA systems, irrigation networks, mechanical systems, and associated control platforms. This role ensures seamless integration, commissioning, and support of advanced automation solutions to meet client requirements.

Key Responsibilities

SCADA & Control Systems

  • Implement, configure, and maintain SCADA systems for irrigation and related networks.
  • Perform testing, commissioning, and validation of central control systems.

Project Execution & Supervision

  • Conduct site surveys, supervise installations, and provide on-site training.
  • Develop automation design plans and execution schedules aligned with client guidelines.
  • Coordinate and manage subcontractors to ensure timely and quality delivery.

Client & Consultant Coordination

  • Lead and participate in client and consultant meetings to discuss technical requirements and project progress.
  • Conduct coordination meetings with internal and external stakeholders to ensure alignment on deliverables.
  • Prepare and present technical discussions to address design challenges and propose solutions.

Proposal & Documentation

  • Prepare detailed technical proposals, documentation, and submittals for client approval.
  • Ensure timely submission of all required documents in compliance with project specifications and standards.
  • Follow up on approvals and maintain accurate records of all submissions.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting

  • Diagnose and resolve critical electrical and communication issues with minimal downtime.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to team members and clients.

Design & Compliance

  • Assist in designing electrical systems and components for automation projects.
  • Ensure adherence to industry regulations and company policies.
  • Safeguard proprietary information, manuals, and company-issued tools.

Customer Engagement & Training

  • Educate customers on system operation and preventive measures.
  • Maintain strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and compliance with standards.
  • Provide mentorship to junior staff and attend product-specific training sessions as required.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Proven experience in automation engineering with strong knowledge of SCADA systems.
  • Expertise in PLC programming, communication protocols, and irrigation control systems.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and coordinate cross-functional teams.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
