Senior Mechanical Quality Control Engineer

• Monitor and inspect all mechanical installations (HVAC, plumbing, firefighting, drainage, pumps, piping systems, etc.) to ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
• Conduct regular site inspections and issue quality control reports.
• Supervise testing, commissioning, and balancing of mechanical systems.
• Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests related to mechanical works.
• Ensure all works comply with local codes, international standards (ASHRAE, SMACNA, NFPA, ASME, etc.), and safety requirements.
• Identify, report, and follow up on non-conformances with contractors and subcontractors.
• Coordinate with consultants, site engineers, and contractors to resolve mechanical-related technical issues.
• Maintain comprehensive quality documentation including checklists, inspection reports, and test certificates.
• Support project handover activities ensuring mechanical quality compliance and full documentation.
• Guide and mentor junior engineers and site supervisors in applying quality procedures.

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering.
• Minimum 47 years of experience in mechanical quality control within large-scale construction or real estate projects.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and firefighting systems and related standards.
• Solid understanding of QA/QC practices and project documentation.
• Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of project management tools is a plus.
