Main Purpose:

The senior architecture quality control Engineer will be responsible for the quality of the materials, methods of execution and standards of quality.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise and inspect all architectural, civil, and structural quality control activities, including material testing and on-site inspections.
  • Provide technical guidance and feedback to site staff to ensure compliance with standards and continuous improvement.
  • Conduct regular inspections of subcontractors work and ensure adherence to project quality requirements.
  • Ensure full implementation of the company's Quality Management System in line with ISO standards.
  • Inspect, record, and verify all incoming materials and equipment to ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Develop and implement QA/QC systems and project-specific quality plans across all sites under responsibility.
  • Plan, organize, and execute inspection and test plans based on project requirements.
  • Review and monitor subcontractors and suppliers' quality systems to ensure effectiveness and compliance.
  • Coordinate and oversee execution teams and subcontractors, ensuring quality standards are maintained.
  • Verify calibration of inspection, measuring, and testing equipment as per schedule.
  • Conduct reviews of approved supplier and subcontractor lists, ensuring compliance with quality standards.
  • Investigate non-conformance issues, recommend corrective and preventive actions, and ensure timely closure.
  • Plan and conduct internal quality audits, inspections, and reviews to verify QA/QC system implementation.
  • Ensure the company's quality policy and procedures are fully understood, implemented, and continuously improved.
  • Prepare quality performance reports and statistical data to identify trends for management review.
  • Organize training and awareness sessions to enhance quality culture among project teams.
  • Maintain, review, and update quality management manuals, procedures, and documents relevant to architectural and civil works.
  • Perform any additional tasks related to quality assurance and control as assigned.

Job Requirements: 

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering "Architecture".
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years of relevant working experience.
  • Good attention to detail, organizational skills and interpersonal and communication skills are required.
  • Excellent time management and problem-solving skills are required.
  • Innovative and self-directed.
  • Ability to work and perform under pressure.
  • Interpersonal skills and ability to effectively communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, suppliers and other team members.
