About the job Document Controller

Main Purpose:

To manage, organize, and control all project documents and drawings, ensuring accuracy, accessibility, and compliance with company standards and project requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all project-related documents and engineering drawings (plans, reports, approvals, correspondence).

  • Apply accurate coding systems for documents to ensure easy access and tracking.

  • Distribute updated versions of drawings and documents to relevant teams and parties.

  • Follow up and issue the latest revisions of documents to prevent errors.

  • Establish secure electronic and physical archiving systems.

  • Prepare periodic reports on document status (issued, reviewed, expired).

  • Coordinate with engineering teams, suppliers, and contractors to ensure smooth transmission of documents.

  • Address issues related to missing, damaged, or incomplete documents.

Requirements:

  • University degree/diploma in a relevant field.

  • Minimum 3 years experience in Document Controller role (preferably in technical office/construction).

  • Proficiency in archiving software and MS Office (Word, Excel).

  • Strong organizational, communication, and administrative skills.

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
