Main Purpose:

The Talent Management & OD Specialist will be responsible for identifying training needs, designing and delivering learning programs, and ensuring the continuous development of employees' skills and competencies to support the company's growth in the construction industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Identify training and development needs across departments and project teams through surveys, performance reviews, and skills gap analysis.
  • Design, deliver, and evaluate learning programs, workshops, and on-the-job training tailored to technical, managerial, and soft skills.
  • Develop and implement onboarding programs to ensure smooth integration of new hires.
  • Manage and maintain training records, generate progress reports, and ensure compliance with company standards policies.
  • Introduce innovative learning methods, continuous learning including e-learning and blended learning, to enhance employee engagement.
  • Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to attract, assess, and select top talent that fits both technical and cultural requirements.
  • Support recruitment activities, including candidate sourcing, screening, and participation in interviews when needed.
  • Assist in workforce planning, succession planning, and career development initiatives to retain and grow key talent.
  • Build strong relationships with external training vendors and recruitment partners to support organizational needs.
  • Provide regular feedback and coaching to employees, supporting both personal and professional development.
  • Support in the implementation of competency frameworks, and succession plans by preparing templates.
  • Maintain updated org. structure & job descriptions.
  • Coordinate the annual Training Needs Assessment (TNA) by deploying surveys, consolidating results, and preparing reports and dashboards for decision-making.
  • Assist in managing the performance management cycle by monitoring completion rates, following up with departments, and preparing user guides or training materials for managers.
  • Draft and distribute internal communication materials related to culture, recognition, and development programs in collaboration with the OD Lead.

Job Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in OD & Talent Management, preferably within the construction or engineering industry.
  • Strong knowledge in performance, competency models and workforce planning.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work across departments.
  • Proficiency in Excel Office; (Pivot tables, Dashboards)
  • Ability to manage multiple training projects simultaneously and meet deadlines.
  • Innovative, proactive, and capable of working under pressure.
