Senior Electrical Quality Control Engineer
About the job Senior Electrical Quality Control Engineer
- Oversee and monitor all electrical installations, materials, and workmanship to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed quality control reports.
- Supervise and witness testing, commissioning, and calibration of electrical systems (power, lighting, fire alarm, low current, etc.).
- Ensure all electrical works adhere to local codes, and safety requirements.
- Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests related to electrical works.
- Identify, report, and follow up on non-conformances and corrective actions with subcontractors.
- Coordinate with site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
- Maintain proper quality control documentation including checklists, inspection reports, and test certificates.
- Support in handover activities by ensuring all quality requirements and documentation are fulfilled.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and site supervisors on quality procedures and standards.
Requirements:
- Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum 4-7 years of experience in electrical quality control, preferably in real estate or large-scale construction projects.
- In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and testing procedures.
- Strong background in quality control practices.
- Proficient in MS Office and familiar with project management software.
