About the job Senior Electrical Quality Control Engineer

  • Oversee and monitor all electrical installations, materials, and workmanship to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections and prepare detailed quality control reports.
  • Supervise and witness testing, commissioning, and calibration of electrical systems (power, lighting, fire alarm, low current, etc.).
  • Ensure all electrical works adhere to local codes, and safety requirements.
  • Review and approve material submittals, method statements, and inspection requests related to electrical works.
  • Identify, report, and follow up on non-conformances and corrective actions with subcontractors.
  • Coordinate with site engineers, and subcontractors to resolve technical issues.
  • Maintain proper quality control documentation including checklists, inspection reports, and test certificates.
  • Support in handover activities by ensuring all quality requirements and documentation are fulfilled.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers and site supervisors on quality procedures and standards.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 4-7 years of experience in electrical quality control, preferably in real estate or large-scale construction projects.
  • In-depth knowledge of electrical systems, standards, and testing procedures.
  • Strong background in quality control practices.
  • Proficient in MS Office and familiar with project management software.
