Job Title: Planning Team Leader

Main Purpose:

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced Planning Team Leader to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the planning team to ensure the successful delivery of projects within the agreed timelines and budgets. The Planning Team Leader will work closely with the project managers, architects, engineers, and other team members to ensure effective coordination and communication throughout the planning phase of our projects.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the planning team, including assigning tasks, setting goals, and providing guidance and support.

- Develop and implement project plans, schedules, and budgets in collaboration with the project managers.

- Review and analyze project proposals, feasibility studies, and other relevant documents to ensure accuracy and completeness.

- Coordinate with the design team to ensure that project plans are aligned with the client's requirements and local regulations.

- Conduct site visits and attend meetings with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to gather information and address any issues that may arise.

- Monitor and track project progress, identify potential risks and issues, and take corrective actions to ensure project milestones are met.

- Prepare and present regular progress reports to senior management and clients.

- Develop and maintain relationships with local authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.

- Mentor and train team members, providing them with opportunities for professional growth and development.


Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Urban Planning, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or a related field.

- 7+ years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a real estate development company.

- Strong knowledge of urban planning principles, local building codes, and regulations.

- Excellent project management skills, with the ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.

- Proven leadership and team management skills.

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

- Ability to think creatively and solve problems effectively.

- Proficient in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
