About the job Performance Marketing Data Engineer (Remote)
Our customer, a remote-first startup helping businesses access full-funnel analytics without hiring an in-house data team, is hiring a skilled Data Engineer for a performance-marketing analytics team.
You'll own end-to-end data work for client projects, from scoping and MVPs through ongoing upkeep, focusing on technical delivery.
Core Duties:
- Assess client data sources & reporting needs
- Design / build ETL pipelines pulling from ad & analytics platforms (Google Ads, Facebook Ads, GA UA, GA4, GTM, etc.)
- Integrate external systems via APIs
- Model data & calculate marketing performance metrics
- Create dashboards / visual reports, ensuring data quality
- Keep project documentation current
- Iterate on data processes and infrastructure
Essential Skills:
- Advanced SQL (hands-on)
- End-to-end ETL development
- API integration expertise
- Data-visualization tooling (e.g., Looker, Power BI, Tableau)
- Client-facing project communication
- Fluent Russian, strong English (B2+)
